LINDALE, Texas—Grover C. Prince, 87, of Hideaway, Texas, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, in a Tyler, Texas, hospital.

Mr. Prince was born Nov. 19, 1920, in Texarkana. He was a retired regional manager with United Transports, retired president of Marine Fabricators, a Mason, a member of Hideaway Community Church and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one wife, Vena Marie.
