HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Mae D. Morris, 97, of Fort Worth, Texas, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008.

Mrs. Morris was born May 14, 1911, in Gilmer, Texas. She was a member of Paradise Baptist Church, Gilmer.

Survivors include one sister, Ella Brown of Gilmer; four grandsons, Donald Morris, Daniel Morris, Kenneth Morris and Willie Morris of Fort Worth; two granddaughters, Loretha Avery and Mariann Harper of Fort Worth; one special nephew, Vernon Freemon of Dallas; 35 great- grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
