HOPE, Ark.—Helen Moore, 81, of Los Angeles died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, in Los Angeles.

Mrs. Moore was born June 2, 1927, in Washington, Ark. She was a former member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Macedonia, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malvin Moore; and one grandson.

Survivors include one son, Chester R. Moore of Washington; four daughters, Annie L. Wade of Los Angeles, Clevirne Scott of Washington, Irene Alvarez of Palmdale, Calif., and Sarah A. Moore of Carson, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
