HOPE, Ark.—Maxine Quillin Shepard, 83, of Hope died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, in Hope.

Mrs. Shepard was a homemaker and a member of Mount Nebo Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Shepard of Hope; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Lynn Montgomery and Carol Jane and Doyott Collins of Hope; one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Virginia Shepard of Oklahoma City; one brother, Weaver Quillin of Hope; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home with Bruce Porter officiating. ...
