BROKEN BOW, Okla.—Richard Waldo Smith Sr., 55, of Hot Springs, Ark., died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, in a Hot Springs, Ark., hospital.

Mr. Smith was born Feb. 6, 1953, in Morenci, Ariz. He was an energy manager with International Paper Co., and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include one son, Richie Smith; two daughters, Leigh Cox and Jacquelyn Slaton; his stepmother, Janice; six brothers; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Valliant High School Auditorium with Bob Bauer and Ed McDonald officiating. Buri...
