HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Earl Eugene “Gene” Flowers, 57, of Daingerfield, Texas, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, in a Gilmer, Texas, hospital.

Mr. Flowers was born May 14, 1951, in Midland, Texas. He was a Mason and a member of Church of Christ.
