Mary Jane “Verlon” Hensley, 82, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Hensley was born Feb. 23, 1926, in Greenwood, Ark.

Survivors include her husband, Garfield Hensley of Texarkana; two sons and daughters-in-law, Butch and Carolyn Hensley of Texarkana and Joe and Suni Hensley of Fouke; one daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Roy Hogeland of Nash, Texas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
