HOPE, Ark.—Myrtle “Mickey” Matthews, 80, of Hope died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, in Hope.

Mrs. Matthews was born June 22, 1928, in El Dorado, Ark. She was owner of Elegant Knit Machine and a member of Prime Timers and First United Methodist Church, Hope. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Matthews.
