Betty Jo Works, 80, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, at her daughter’s home.

Mrs. Works was born Nov. 21, 1927, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a homemaker, a retired cabinet builder and a member of South Texarkana United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Works; and one daughter, Sandra Bartlett.
