MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Brady Scott Shumate, 40, of Richardson, Texas, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, in a Richardson hospital.

Mr. Shumate was born July 7, 1968, in Mount Pleasant. He was a pipe fitter and a member of Boilermakers Association and South Side Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by one son, Jonathan Grissom.
