LINDEN, Texas—Gay Wooten, 89, of Linden died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Wooten was born March 8, 1919, in Mount Vernon, Texas. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Wooten.
