LINDEN, Texas—Horace Weldon “Hoss” Hall, 87, of Vallejo, Calif., died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, in Vallejo.

Mr. Hall was born Jan. 22, 1921, in Linden. He was a retired Navy chief petty officer, employed by Ralph Tiffany Motors and Bud Martin Buick and a member of Sons in Retirement and Fleet Reserve Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Hall; and one son, Michael Hall.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Rick Martinez; one grandson, Daniel Hall Martinez; one special friend, Claudine Sullivan; and a number of other relatives.
