LOUISE JOHNSON

HOPE, Ark.—Louise Shafer Johnson, 81, of Hope died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Johnson was born Aug. 6, 1927, in New Orleans. She was a retired restaurant owner, a homemaker and a member of Unity Baptist Church, Pineville, La., and Calvary Baptist Church, Hope. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Stephen Johnson.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Sonny and Paula Johnson of Hope; and three grandchildren, Matthew Johnson and Eric Johnson of Atlanta, Ga., and Brittany Rogers of Hope.
