EVELYN BLACKBURN BARRY

Evelyn Blackburn Barry, 91, passed away on Saturday, Nov-ember 29, 2008 at Cornerstone Methodist Retirement Commu-nity.

She was born in Re-no, Texas on March 7, 1917 and was married to W.M. “Bill” Barry on July 4, 1936 in Paris, Texas. They made Texarkana, Texas their home in the fall of 1937. In the late 30’s and early 40’s she was District Director of Children’s Work for the Methodist Church in the Texarkana, Arkansas district.
