DE QUEEN, Ark.—Charles Allen Wood, 77, of Umpire, Ark., died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Wood was born Dec. 3, 1930, in Nashville, Ark. He was employed in the oil field and gas pipeline industry, a retired truck driver, a member of International Lions Club and a Baptist.
