Evelyn Blackburn Barry, 91, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, in Texarkana.

Mrs. Barry was born March 7, 1917, in Reno, Texas. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was leader of music for McDuffie Bible Class, former district director of Children’s Work and a member of the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.M. “Bill” Barry.
