LINDALE, Texas—Flo Jordy, 87, of Hideaway, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Jordy was born Aug. 3, 1921, in Chidester, Ark. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Epworth Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hand Jordy; and one son, Robert Hand Jordy Jr.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Paul Paulsen of Hideaway; one brother and sister-in-law, James Edward and Pat Sweatman of Mobile, Ala.; one stepgranddaughter, Kymberly Paulsen of Las Vegas; and a number of other relatives.
