NEW BOSTON, Texas—J.D. Foster, 77, of Maud, Texas, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Foster was born March 25, 1931, in Simms, Texas. He was a retired quality assurance technician at Red River Army Depot, a member of New Boston Masonic Lodge, a Baptist and an Air Force veteran.
