Ferman Roswell Smith Sr., 75, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, in Texarkana, Texas.

Mr. Smith was born July 26, 1933, in Beaumont, Texas. He was a member of Hopewell Temple CME Church and an Air Force veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Ferman Smith Jr. of Diamond Bar, Calif., and Eric Totton Smith of Carson, Calif.; two daughters, April Jones of Littleton, Colo., and Angelia Neasley of Terrell, Texas; his mother, Magnolia Carroll of Texarkana; and six grandchildren.
