DE QUEEN, Ark.—Johnnie Joe Anderson, 44, of Kirby, Ark., died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Anderson was born Nov. 20, 1964, in Texarkana. He was a former millwright for L&J Mechanical. He was preceded in death by one son, Nolan Kyle Anderson.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Anderson; three brothers, Damon Pope, Brandon Pope and Kenneth Pope; three sisters, Tammy Braley, Michelle Pope and Tonya Coker of Texarkana; his parents, Sandra and Al Mixon of Junction City, Ark., and Dana and Bobbye Pope of Atlanta, Texas; and his grandmother, Vera D.
