Muriel Jean Murdock, 83, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Murdock was born Oct. 1, 1925, in Iowa City, Iowa. She was a retired X-ray technician at Southern Clinic, former member of Texarkana Women’s Bowling Association and member of St. James Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Powell Murdock.
