HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Johnnyrea Fite, 79, of Hughes Springs died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Fite was born Aug. 6, 1929, in Vivian, La. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Hughes Springs Sesame Club and First Baptist Church.
