Mary Aline Corn Matney, 82, of Hooks, Texas, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008.

Mrs. Matney was born Aug. 17, 1926, in Paris, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Matney; two sons, Roy Corn and Kenneth Matney; and one great-granddaughter, Shai Rogers.

Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Matney of Bryan, Texas, Jerry Matney of New Boston, Texas, and Steve Matney of Amarillo, Texas; five daughters, Addie Matney of Fort Worth, Texas, Wilma Dean of Avery, Texas, Evelyn Poole of New Boston and Carolyn Choa...
