NAPLES, Texas—Peggy J. Baker, 69, of Avery, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Baker was born May 29, 1939, in DeKalb, Texas. She was a retired assistant cashier for State Bank of DeKalb and member of DeKalb Professional Business Women’s Organization and First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee Baker on April 28, 2006.

Survivors include one sister, Marie Pierce of DeKalb; two nephews, David Stinson of DeKalb and Jimmy L. Stinson of Denton, Texas; and a number of other relatives.
