ATLANTA, Texas—Theola Payne, 86, of Sacramento, Calif., died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, in a Sacramento hospital.

Mrs. Payne was born Sept. 22, 1922, in Kiblah, Ark.

Survivors include two sons, James Penn of College Park, Ga., and Jerome Payne of Los Angeles; one brother, Raymond Hopgood of Oakland, Calif.; 12 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Unionville CME with Bishop Johnie L. Jones officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Doddridge, under direction of Community...
