STAMPS, Ark.—Vernell McEachern, 78, of Taylor, Ark., died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, in a Shreveport, La., hospital.

Mrs. McEachern was born Aug. 16, 1930, in Stamps. She was a homemaker and member of Landmark Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Darnell McEachern of Taylor; two daughters, Pam Kennemer of Taylor and Shelah Lloyd of Sarepta, La.; one sister, Hazel Stevens of Stamps; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Landmark Baptist Church with the Rev. Cleo Paul officiating...
