Dorothy Lee Waggoner George, 81, of Texarkana, Ark., formerly of Houston, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. George was born Dec. 15, 1926, in Texarkana. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Jean Reid.

Survivors include one daughter, Cynthia Gail George of Houston; one sister, Lois Post of Cleveland, Texas; four brothers, Bennie Waggoner, Bill Waggoner and Tommy Waggoner of Texarkana and Wayne Waggoner of Magnolia, Texas; and four grandchildren.
