ASHDOWN, Ark.—Rodney Gene Burris, 41, of Ashdown died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Mr. Burris was born Aug. 17, 1967, in Malvern, Ark. He was a member of Southern Pride band and a Marine veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Dana Burris of Ashdown; one son, J.D.
