ATLANTA, Texas—E.V. Ray Jr., 80, of Atlanta died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, in Atlanta.

Mr. Ray was born Oct. 2, 1928, in Atlanta. He was a retired purchasing agent from Texas Department of Transportation and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Jones Ray of Atlanta; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Bonnie Ray of Magnolia, Texas; one sister, Imogene Betts of Greenville, Texas; three grandchildren, Maverick Ray of College Station, Texas, and Madison Ray and Pierce Ray of Magnolia; and a number of other relatives.
