LUCY ALEXANDER

DE QUEEN, Ark.—Lucy Fern Alexander, 77, of Dierks, Ark., died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Alexander was born Dec. 16, 1930, in Sevier County, Ark. She was a self-employed grocer and a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Tony Jackson of Mount Ida, Ark.; two daughters, Gloria Giles of De Queen and Beverly Stephens of Hot Springs, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
