DE QUEEN, Ark.—Violet Young, 90, of Foreman, Ark., died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Young was born Nov. 2, 1918, in Foreman. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Young.

Survivors include one son, Keith Young of Corinth, Miss.; two daughters, Judy Sparks of Foreman and Patsy Taylor of Zion, Ill.; one brother, Carl Green of Foreman; three granddaughters, Jennifer Ingalls, Michelle Johnson and Jessica Ross; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
