NEW BOSTON, Texas—Betty Jean Simmons, 71, of New Boston died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Simmons was born July 11, 1936, in Boxelder, Texas. She was a retired licensed vocational nurse with New Boston Health Care Center and a member of Church of God, New Boston.
