Daisy Skinner Cochran, 82, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Cochran was born Jan. 25, 1926. She was a homemaker, a beautician, a retail salesperson and a member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Elaine Purtle.

Survivors include one granddaughter, Tiffany Hauser of Birmingham, Ala.; one grandson, Timothy Purtle of Avondale, Ariz.; and two great-grandsons, Owen Hauser and Luke Hauser.
