Dan Derace Sterling, 60, of Whitehouse, Texas, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Sterling was born July 27, 1948, in Amarillo, Texas. He was retired from Procter & Gamble, a rancher, secretary-treasurer of Lake Alazan Inc. and a member of Whitehouse Library Board.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Sterling of Whitehouse; one daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Terry Ukrainetz of Carrollton, Texas; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Sheri Sterling of Mansfield, Texas, and James Sterling and fiancée Savannah McQuire of Whitehouse; his father, Jim R. ...
