Shirley Jean Thigpen, 65, of Texarkana died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, in De Queen, Ark.

Mrs. Thigpen was born Nov. 10, 1943, in Knox City, Texas. She was a restaurant owner and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monty Thigpen.
