Lillie I. Brown, 92, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Brown was born Oct. 17, 1916, in Cuthand, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Hickory Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, I.D. Brown.

Survivors include one son, James R. Lumpkin of Valley Springs, Calif.; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas, with the Rev. Danny Carter officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
