ATLANTA, Texas—Lonnie Lawson, 79, of Atlanta died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Lawson was born March 9, 1929, in Fordyce, Ark. He was a member of Enon First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie Florence of Dallas and Leon Smith Sr. of Las Vegas; two daughters, Beverly Denise Lawson and Beverly Ann Winkley Coker of Atlanta; five brothers, James Lawson of Milwaukee and Ronnie Terry, Jerry Lawson, Sonny Lawson and Reynold Lawson of Las Vegas; six sisters, Leo Williams and Cobell Henry of Kansas City, Mo., and Brenda Kaye Cluff, Linda C...
