ATLANTA, Texas—Opal Vaughan, 74, of Atlanta died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, in Atlanta.

Mrs. Vaughan was born Jan. 7, 1934, in Atlanta. She was retired from Brookshire’s, a sitter for home health patients and a member of Antioch Volunteer Fire Department and Center Grove Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Vaughan; and one granddaughter, Megan Vaughan.
