STAMPS, Ark.—Leola “Lee” Witt, 79, of Waldo, Ark., died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Ms. Witt was born Jan. 16, 1929, in Waldo. She was a member of New Bethel AME Church, Waldo.

Survivors include one daughter, Edna R. Rowden of Waldo; two sisters, Christen Moss and Shirley Gill of Waldo; one brother, Frankie J. Witt of Cleveland, Ohio; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Bethel AME Church with James Turner officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery under direction of Smith Fune...
