HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Odella “Tonkey” Nickleberry, 98, of Naples, Texas, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Nickleberry was born Jan. 10, 1910, in Cass County, Texas. She was a cook for Redbud Retreat Nursing Home.

Survivors include one daughter, Anitia Nickleberry of Naples; two granddaughters, Merlyn Lafayette of Naples and Cynthia Murphy of Longview, Texas; one grandson, Calvert Nickleberry of Naples; three brothers-in-law, Clayborn Nickleberry and Lee Vester Nickleberry of Marietta, Texas, and C.A.
