Thomas Elgin DePrato, 83, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. DePrato was born Jan. 9, 1925, in Texarkana. He was co-owner of Tom and Stan’s Auto Parts, a youth baseball coach, a member of Baseball Association Board and St. Luke’s Methodist Church and a World War II Army veteran.
