Jackie Duren McAlexander, 75, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, in a local hospital.

Ms. McAlexander was born Nov. 27, 1933, in Hooks, Texas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot, retired licensed vocational nurse and member of Nash First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Steve Duren of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Richard Greer of Wake Village, Texas; one brother, James “Bubba” Watlington of Macon, Ga.; one grandson, Blake McKellar of Wake Village; and a number of other relatives.
