DE QUEEN, Ark.—Frank Austin Counts, 80, of De Queen, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Counts was born July 24, 1928, in Hartley, Ark. He was a master sergeant with the Army, employed with the USDA, a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church, and a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Jake Parker Tinkes.
