ATLANTA, Texas—Maurine Gist, 95, of Atlanta died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008.

Mrs. Gist was born Feb. 23, 1913, in Texas. She was a Bible class teacher, a World Bible School teacher, and a member of Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bomer Gist; and one son, H.B. Gist of Abilene, Texas.
