HOPE, Ark.—Thomas “T.J.” Davis, 84, of Hope died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Davis was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Hooker, Okla. He was retired from the maintenance department of Pinehope Nursing and Rehab, Hope, a Catholic, and a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by one son, Tom Davis.

Survivors include his former wife, Trudie Mae Daughtery Davis of Hope; three daughters, Beth Williams of Fort Smith, Ark., Tonya Wurman of Friendswood, Texas, and Angela Mixon of Texarkana; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
