DE QUEEN, Ark.—Harold R. Havins, 88, of Lockesburg, Ark., died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, in Texarkana, Texas.

Mr. Havins was born Aug. 9, 1920, in Haworth, Okla. He was a farmer and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Terry Havins; and one son, Terry Lynn Havins.

Survivors include one daughter, Sue Laws of Salado, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Patsy Havins of Lockesburg; four grandchildren, Gregg Laws, Gina Hunter, Lisa Clement and Christi Jordan; one special friend, Mozell Nall of Little Rock; five great-grandchildr...
