DIERKS, Ark.—Nelda Jean Simmons Rodgers, 78, of Lockesburg, Ark., died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Rodgers was born Oct. 3, 1930, in New Hope, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Joy Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Griffin Simmons and Booker Rodgers.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Benny and Melanie Simmons of Provo, Ark., and Gene and Donna Simmons and Gary and De Ann Simmons of Dierks; one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Rick Cole of Hope, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildr...
