Claudia Edith Phelps, 82, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, in an Atlanta, Texas nursing home.

Mrs. Phelps was born May 26, 1926, in Bedford, Ohio. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and a Presbyterian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Phelps.
