Freddie Mae Baxter, 74, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Baxter was born July 29, 1934, in Calion, Ark. She was a member of Lewis Temple COGIC.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Baxter of Texarkana; four sons, Kurk Baxter of Nash, Texas, Dale Baxter of Wake Village, Texas, and Terry Baxter and James Baxter of Texarkana; two brothers, Eddie Hayden and Willie Hayden of Texarkana; one special granddaughter, Terilynn Baxter of Texarkana; 10 other grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
