SAN ANTONIO—Robert Myers Hammack, 75, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008.

Maj. Hammack was born Oct. 7, 1933, in Texarkana, Ark. He was retired from the Postal Service and an Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; one son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Kathy Hammack; one daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Mike Alvarado; one sister, Marilyn Barrett; four granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
